Rus’-Oil management has developed a cost optimization and cost reduction strategy until 2019

15.11.2016.

Rus’-Oil management has developed a cost optimization and cost reduction strategy until 2019, which includes building a mini-refinery, taking into account the company’s own motor fuel needs.

The company currently uses MOBISTACK mobile road slabs to build cluster sites, which allow movement of construction vehicles and special machinery of 80 tons and more over swamplands, permafrost areas, loose sand and weak soils. This technology already allows the company to reduce the production cost to $4.2-$4.7 a barrel.

Along with reduction of production costs, Rus’-Oil is actively developing its infrastructure. In 2016 it launched a 150-kilometer-long KMAO-Yugra pipeline, which connected two oil fields (Gustorechenskoe and Multanovskoe) into a single oil transport system to the Yuzhny Balyk pumping station. The pipeline was completed in extremely short timeframe – less than four months from design to commissioning. It allows transporting up to 1 million tons of oil a year.
